She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Curtis Ford; her parents, Floyd & Florence Dobbins; her siblings, Gene Pittman, Bill Pittman, Theodore Dobbins, Viola Dobbins, F.W. Dobbins, Doyle Dobbins, Thelma Cole, Alma Thomas & Sonny Dobbins.

She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church as well as Port City Baptist Church.
